I never remember how small this car really is until I — God forbid — USE the cargo area. These boards are only 63" long, and they’re two inches from the backs of front seats.

I found out my GS seats don't fold down . My 2005 accord is more useful!

The truck will remember this slight against it.

Don’t say that too loud! Your truck might hear and leave a puddle in the garage.

A Jeep Gladiator bed is only 60 inches....

You didn’t remove the thing between the shock towers?
But yeah, too bad more people don’t know

And the short bed on the F-150 SuperCrew (I’d guess this is the most common F-150 configuration) is onl y 66". It would fit Zoidberg’s wood, but it wouldn’t be much, if any better than the wagon (though you’d still have your back seat in the mammoth truck.

A portable cement mixer easily fi ts in the back of my 99' Golf ( I did need to separate the top part from the base) .

This is one of those places where a minivan shines. I can easily accommodate 8ft boards in a Sienna, Odyssey or G Caravan/Town&Country. The only full size minivan this doesn’t work in is the Nissan, for some bizarre reason they designed the rear seats so they neither fold
into the floor or pop out.
It's very odd like that..

That’s why I have an Outback. Yeah, me and everyone else. All that space is useful. Lumber, bikes and bike parts, helping the kids move here and there... and I have neighbors with pickup trucks should I want to do something serious.

Yes, it would be easier if it was a Harlequin so you can twist it like a Rubik’s Cube.
